A Seecamp in .32 would be a better option.

I carry an M38 Airweight Bodyguard, but the .22 should work for dogs.

I also have a couple of NAA, one with both .22 LR and .22 WMR, and one straight .22 WMR. In the old days, a small revolver was called a belly gun because, among other things, they were mostly useful if you stuck it in the attacker's belly and pulled the trigger. I call these nose guns. You shove it up your attacker's nose and be sure to angle it so it goes into the skull area and not just clears the attacker's sinuses (sorry, dark humor, do not take this as advice). At the last Eagle Arms Oaks show, I got some Speer Gold Dot WMR for short barrels. Haven't tried it yet. Will let you guys know when I do.

Then get a good folding knife. It beats the crap out of an NAA Mini.

I have the .22 short and LR. If you do a little practice, you can hit your target. I have worn mine in the fold of my beanie cap and it is undetectable. IMO if you are willing to take the time to learn the gun, you will be quite happy with it. I say go for it!

BTW: the hammer has a half click so you can pocket carry.
Aggies Coach Really ??? Take off the tin foil bro.

It isn*t the cartridge, it*s the platform. The NAA Mini is going to be a nightmare to deploy. It is a tiny single action revolver that is going to need 2 hands to bring to bear and slow with 2 hands to boot. Then you*ll need to be at contact distance to hit with it anyway. A stout stick would be better.

Are you speaking from experience or conjecture? The one I carried for years with a holstergrip could easily be manipulated with one hand.
