Carry in Delaware

Planning a beach vacation in Delaware in a few weeks. I am a Pa resident and have a Pa concealed carry permit and I also have a Utah non resident carry permit, Everything I have read says I can carry in Delaware they honor the Utah permit.
Am I reading this information correctly?

To my knowledge, you are correct. IANAL There are several interactive maps available that have full details on them.

You are correct, DE does honor UT non-resident permits. I assume you have looked at some of the sites like www.handgunlaw.us, since you mention reading some things. Be aware that DE doesn't have preemption, so municipalities can have laws different, and stricter, than state law.

And for example, IIRC Dover is an example of a (fairly large) municipality
you should research closely. It might even be on your route.

You are pretty much good to go in Delaware. Until a Couple of years ago Dover did have some concealed carry restriction that were different than the rest of the state but they changed that. There may be different rules for police stations and court houses* and of course federal buildings.

There is a new magazine limit in Delaware. Magazines that are designed to hold 17 or more are off limits. So if you have a gun that carries 5.7x28, you might be out of luck with that.
