    That was one of the guns I was looking at. I hear it has a great trigger. I’ll do some more research on that one thanks.

    My brother in law let me handle his Glock 19X and I really like it. It is outside of my current budget, but maybe I’ll just hold out a little longer and save a little more for that gun. I liked the trigger and ergonomics on that one. I’ll probably shoot his gun before making a decision. I like my Springfield XDM elite but it gets a little heavy at times.
    Thanks for all your help everyone. I’ll keep doing research and eventually I’ll purchase something and give ya an update.

    I think the P229 is about twice his stated budget but maybe there is a used one out there for $500.

    Ruger Max9 is in the price range. Good sights, optic ready, good capacity. Takedown not very good.

    I also meant to recommend the Lone Wolf LTD19. Its a better than stock take on the Glock 19 for about $500.

    psa dagger...pretty much a gluck 17 clone. can be had for $299.00. often they run sales were you could get the pistol and ten mags for $399.00.
    it's only metal, we can out think it....
