Re: Ruger LC Charger 5.7x28mm Pistol
This reminds me of a .44 Automag. Excel Arms Accelerator
I have the Ruger 57 and don't think it is ugly but do agree most are indeed ugly.
Smith is ok
Ruger 57 is ok
FN versions are ok
PSA Rock is okJimmy cracked corn and HE didn't care! Why should I?

If you like the speed (or better) of 5.7x28mm, and don't like the look of the general design of 5.7 pistols, you should look into the .22 TCM from Armscor- a regular sized 1911- https://www.armscor.com/firearms-lis...-22tcm-10rd-hc or small frame Glock- https://www.ebay.com/itm/32461781861...Bk9SR7Tx2OOLYg with the .22 TCM 9R. Ammo is available, easier to reload for than 5.7x28mm, and more powerful. There is also a bolt action rifle chambered in .22 TCM that uses the 1911 magazines, including a truncated 5 rd magazine that fits flush- https://www.armscor.com/firearms-lis...m-ba-22tcm-5rd . It's a nice setup, but you won't be in the cool 5.7 kid club; you'll have money left over.
I'm waiting to see if Walther comes out with a 5.7 conversion for it's WMP pistol- https://waltherarms.com/wmp It has the right size grip geometry for the OAL of the 5.7x28mm cartridge, and is built for .22 Magnum. The 5.7 is obviously more powerful, but not enough to have to redesign the pistol; a centerfire striker setup instead of rimfire, a stronger recoil spring, and stronger striker spring should do.Last edited by gun-bunny; May 27th, 2023 at 01:37 PM.
