🤔Gun control advocates say new Montgomery Co. initiative will save lives
🎻 C'mon man The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office announced a new initiative on Monday, to ensure firearms dealers are following the laws. Gun control advocates call the move historic, but some gun shop owners say it's a misallocation of resources.
"We need to find every way possible to save lives to prevent future gun violence," Carol Lastowka, the Southeast coordinator for CeaseFirePA, which advocates to end gun violence, said.
The Montgomery County sheriff on Monday announced inspections on the 92 firearms dealers in the area.

Re: 🤔Gun control advocates say new Montgomery Co. initiative will save lives
I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but this is a waste of time and money that suggests they're just looking for petty reasons to shut down dealers.

Re: Montgomery County sheriff to conduct compliance inspections at gun dealers
Really....does the deputy sheriff's knowledge of the nuances of state laws regarding FFL transfers that thorough that a meaningful inspection could be accomplished?
Just asking.
