Default WAS LOOKING FOR YOUR THOUGHTS

This is the way I carry(pic below). My concern is that my shirt rides up at times and uncovers my gun (at a bar, restaurant, etc.) Now I know OC is legal and I support those of you who chose that option. I myself try to keep it concealed for the most part. My question is this holster safe from someone trying to grab my glock if my shirt rides up without my knowledge? Would anyone think I shoud get a holster with a thumb break? I do not think it will slip out but I am concerned of it being taken from the back. I really enjoy carrying this way and don't wanna change the front pocket position. I feel it is a very natural position to go for if i ever need to use my gun. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Wear pants with a bigger front pocket.
Use a pocket holter that does not have the belt clip.

I carried a Kahr MK40 like that in the summertime. It was invisible.

That, and buy your sweatshirts one size larger/longer, and they should cover better.

I carry the 27 sometimes with a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster. Not as a quick draw as your holster would be but I like it. I carry it when I am in places when I really want to conceal, like school.

Buy a proper IWB holster (and belt if you don't have. IE: double thickness)

If you ever go to any serious defensive shooting class you'll throw that holster in the garbage first day.

The waistband carry is more secure as well as better concealed than front pocket.

For the shirt riding up, buy your cover garments in tall size, this will add about 2" to the body length of the garment.

What PA Patriot said, although I prefer a high ride belt holster over an IWB.

With your current mode of carry, if you have to run (after the dog, for a bus, for your life, whatever) or make any other sudden movement, is the gun going to stay in place? With a solid holster, and equally importantly, a good belt, the gun stays in place, and when you have to go for it, it will be in the same place you left it.

All the way in the pocket is all right (though not as good as on the belt), but the "compact" Glocks can be difficult to carry and conceal that way if you don't wear baggy pants.

I am a big fan of the Bianchi Cary-Loc holster. I have a couple of them and my son often uses on for work and off-duty. For us they provide excellent retension while still providing a quick draw. The holster holds the handgun in close and tight.

    Good luck.

I will second that, when I do not carry IWB I use it and it does work very well.

You can get a good OWB holster that will raise it higher under your shirt. That'll probably be your best option.

I have also used a IWB holster between my belt and pants, rather than inside the pants.... seemed to work pretty well. Kinda limited as to where you can place the gun though.
