    Default Online cc renewals

Ordinarily I would just have added to my thread below, but I think it more important to give this information more broadly.

I have seen that a number of counties and Philadelphia now have online applications for original and renewal cc permits. The outfit handling the online stuff is called "permitium.com." If a county has online applications/renewals/address changes, the general format of the URL is https://countynamepa.permitium.com/ccw/start; there is no space between the county name and pa. Example for Bucks County would be: buckspa.permitium.com/ccw/start.

As with anything else in the Commonwealth, different counties have different backlogs. It's better to start earlier in the 60 days before expiration date than to wait. When I called on May 9 to check on a Delco application, I was told that they were currently on April 13. I'm sure some counties are faster, some slower.

I hope y'all find this information helpful.

PA., if I remember CORRECTLY has a "LICENSE TO CARRY FIREARMS", Not a Concealed Carry
Permit. What is it called in the fine city of Philly which is the only First Class City in PA.

I thought this had something to do with credit cards. LOL

This Permitium thing is bullshit. You have to pay a fee to do something that already has a fee that is supposed to be a standard price statewide.

There's a big thread here somewhere.

Wife just looked at her LTCF and it expired almost 1 year ago! Monroe County .We had to drop off a New Application Not a renewal even though she had the LTCF for over 20 years. She got the call to pick up her new LTCF but in 4 weeks' time? They must be backlogged.

Same as the people who call magazines, clips. We know what they are talking about.

In Philadelphia, we call them License to Carry Firearms. But then we want to know if your firearm is registered.

The name means nothing. Our LTCF does in fact allow someone to carry concealed, amongst other things. It really is pedantic to point out such things.
