Re: Judicial Watch, Pennsylvania Cleans Up Its Voter Rolls
The recent Judicial Watch report shows rhat Los Angeles County ALONE just removed 1,200,000 names from the voter rolls. New York City and North Carolina removed almost 900,000. Dozens of counties around the country have more voters registered than there are voting age residents. JW sues *em, they knuckle under and the number of possible illegal votes shrinks. They do important work and I have supported them for some years now. Check them out.

How many ineligible voters will they let register before 2024? Taking ineligible voters off the roles after the damage is done doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Part way. Has DMV cleaned up its act and requires proof of citizenship for first time licensees wanting to register to vote?

As a former PennDoT license examiner, I can absolutely tell you there are citizenship documents required for anyone getting a first time DL or ID in PA. I know, I pissed off plenty of people who couldn't produce valid birth certificates or immigration documents.
To get a first time PA DL there are basically four things required, birth certificate, a valid DL from another state, a SS card, and proof of PA residency. If you don't have a US birth certificate, you need immigration documentation, which could be in a few different forms depending on your status, some of which do not allow you to register to vote.
Sure, there are ways to get a fraudulent DL but it would take some deliberate planning. I had training in the process and to recognize fraudulent and faked documents and I'm not sure I could get through undetected using common technology. The Hostler
