One thing no one should be concerned about carrying condition 0 is getting disarmed by LE and shot with their own gun.

I think mainly there are only one or two people that still advocate carrying on an empty chamber even though most guns are drop safe except for one stand out and everyone knows what that is. This is about the fourth or fifth time I've written these same words on this forum.

I carried with an empty chamber for a long time. Don't do that anymore.

But anyway, if you're "all in," you wear your plate carrier all the time?

Wearing a plate carrier and carrying your handgun with a round in the chamber are not even close to the same thing. Though people who refuse to carry with one in the chamber may benefit from wearing body armor. Might save their life as they fumble with getting a round chambered.
