Looking up the SN tells me mine was made in 1997.
I bought it from the original owner in 2000.
I believe that Colt stopped making them shortly after and prices went through the roof, but then a while back, they were reintroduced.
I just took a look and it looks like they have once again been discontinued.

I just stumbled into buying it. At the time, I didn't really know much about the different models. The Pocket Lite would have been better - or the Pocket Nine, but I still like it a lot and got it for a good price back then.

They are neat little guns. I was looking at them a few years back. Prices then were high and there weren*t a lot of them coming up for sale either. Anyway, at the last minute I realized I was a revolver guy, and the last thing I needed was an expensive carry .380 that I wouldn*t carry or shoot. But they still look pretty.
