    A special election for Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 163 has been called for May 16, 2023. The candidate filing deadline was March 27, 2023.[7]

    The seat became vacant after Michael Zabel (D) resigned on March 16, 2023.[8]

    General election
    The general election will occur on May 16, 2023.

    I was wondering if she was on our side. I see signs all over the place but no party affiliation.

    2016 it was a solid red area....last election it was solid blue. I have no idea what her chances of winning are but the Dems don't seem freaked our so I guess it will hold. But anyone in that area must vote.

    In the interim between 2016 and 2022, redistricting took place.

    At least they are getting the word out about her. I have gotten at least 8 pieces of mail to vote for her. In the last general election there was hardly any information on the republican candidate.
    Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

    Keep in mind if you or anyone you know is registered as an independent, you can vote in this race. Normally independents don*t vote in Primary*s elections except for a few circumstances. This is one of them. If you live in the area and know people who might vote for Ford, spread the word. Since it is a special election any registered voter in the area can vote in this race

    Rigor & Mortis, LLC has conducted cemetery polling and, if R's canvass there and send a mail truck with 100,000 mail-in ballots, a flip is possible.
