    That last "click" to pull hammer back. Seems far and a hard pull. I have Colts and Rugers and 1 Freedom Arms and none of them do I have to pull hammer so far back. Hard for me to explain. More of a feel.

    The weight of the pull can likely be adjusted without too much trouble.
    The distance the hammer rotates to engage the full cock notch or the last "click" is an entirely different matter and probably not solvable as a practical matter.

    pffffft, they must have had that 30/30 loaded as weak as possible, I don't see how any full power rifle round wouldn't jump more than that.
