    Walmart has done their job well and in most rural areas completely or nearly has eliminated all of the competition.
    Thankfully Dollar General came along and found a market to cater to the more rural areas. It isn't a complete replacement to Walmart but you can get a decent amount of normal household stuff there.

    avoid walmart at all costs mostly cause the stores near me suck, one has been in crap shape for years and the other only uses self checkout. I do like sam's club though especially since the scan and go app.
