Not so. Trump's White House encouraged the States to implement "Red Flag". He did more than beat his gums in one meeting.

He did a few things that I can't figure out who he was pandering to and why.

I will say though, trump did help turn the Supreme Court to a pro 2A institution by being able to appoint 3 Judges. It may be that the extreme red flag laws could be struck down by the justices he appointed.

But your right about his inconsistent view on the gun issue.

I do not think that the Court will strike down Extreme Protection Risk Orders. The Court supported "Civil Forfeiture" in two separate rulings. Red Flag and Civil Forfeiture deny Due Process. Due Process means that you get summoned to Court, the prosecution presents their case, you present yours, the Judge or Jury rules.

Civil Forfeiture is the crummy policy of taking money, cars, airplanes or other things because it is "suspected" that they were bought or used in drug trafficking. If you want your stuff back? Go to Court and challenge the police for it. By 2014 Police had taken more private property than Burglars.

Me neither. I sometimes think that Trump is too New York for his own good.
