There are 43,000 registered voters in the 163rd District.

The Philly Inquire r says the political demographics are as follows:
51% Dems
37% Repubs
12% Independents

That means there are 15,950 registered Repubs.

Not even 3,000 showed up (with 95% reporting).

If 6,500 wins the race, only 6,500/15,950 = 41% turnout would have won the race.

What a poor performance by the GOP, "get out the vote" doofi.

Revised numbers demonstrate that Repubs would have to have basically 2/3 voter turnout to surmount the Dem registration advantage. Repubs are not going to win in lopsided districts absent a massive turnout advantage. But 33% turnout just is not going to cut it.

There are no stone cold political killers in the GOP hierarchy.

New York Times has called the race for judge with 41% of the vote in. They have Josh Prince losing to Megan Martin. Hopefully she is a strong supporter of the 2nd.

that's because the GOP did not endorse him which should tell everyone everything they need to know, I voted for Josh because fuck the GOP's bullshit. What this tells me is simply the GOP has way to many RINOS now.

I was looking her up last night. She did seem qualified for the job and I can see why they endorsed her. I would have preferred Prince but that is only because I follow his work for the 2nd.
