HARRISBURG, April 17 * The Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus is calling on the General Assembly to act and pass gun safety legislation following multiple mass shootings across the nation and the unjust expulsion of two legislators, and the attempted expulsion of a third, in Tennessee for so-called *disorderly behavior* following their protest in favor of gun reform in the Tennessee House chamber.https://www.pahouse.com/InTheNews/Ne...ase/?id=128555

Historically the people most in need of a firearm are people of African ancestry. After the Turner Slave revolts all black people were disarmed, and in some States denied education to read and write.

The post Civil War gun controls were focused on people of color.

Civil Forfeiture and Red Flag are used most often against blacks than others.

This Corporate prostitute moonlighting as a Legislator is disenfranchising her own people, even members of her own extended family.

She is doing Wall Street's bidding. She should be coming out in favor of policies that weaken the War on Drugs. She should demand more police resources for black communities and on more education. This spending does not serve her Corporate masters so she does not talk on them.

....it seems the last thing someone of her ilk would call for is more resources for police, she'd rather the funds go towards bullshit social programs!

Either one makes more sense than towing the Wall Street Party Line - "disarm the rubes".

The idea of a "black caucus" is fifty years old... back in 1973.

Most blacks are shot by other blacks. Why dont they ask their constituents to stop shooting each other?

I, for one, support gun safety legislation. Children should be trained how to properly handle firearms. Proper marksman and maintaining of equipment. Especially in high school, basic maneuver drills and shooting drills should be the routine.

Classes should be offered at minimal or no expense to adults who want to maintain their skills.
