Default AR pistol market gone to hell, or fluke?

In the past week there's been at least 2 top quality AR pistols on gunbroker that have gone NOWHERE. First was a Frankenstein but a nice one...had mostly Daniel Defense, Noveske and Geiselle parts for <$350. Second was a PWS piston unit for a little over $400. I can't almost build an AR of ANY quality for those prices. What gives? Has the AR pistol market really gotten that bad?

I guess everyone is afraid to pull the trigger with the commie brace rule out there. I was hoping that there would have been a ruling on that already. I have noticed that online retailers have been selling AR pistols without braces now.

I don't see many at the range. A friend who has a lot of guns built one, kept it for about a month, and sold it. I've personally never shot one and I do have a registered lower receiver in my safe that I'll probably never build.

GB are pulling the pistols if they have braces and not SBR'd. I'm building a few now just waiting for extra funds so I can finish them.

These were both sans braces so no issue there, but in both cases, would probably be well over $1,000 new.
