Anybody see the new Charles Daly G4

Pictures of the new CD G4 1911 have just been released on the CD forums site. She comes with a bull barrel and more upgraded features than the previous models. Made in Israel, and a classy touch it does not have any logos it. And Michael Kassnar calls it a tack driver, due to be released early 09
I can't wait to get one in my grubby hands. Check it out and see what you think.

Yeah.. These have the bull barrel, front and rear slide serrations, Kimber sight cut, etc...
I never shot a 1911 with bull barrel before, but thats an interesting idea on 5 incher...

Hey I keep hearing the term "Bull Barrel" but not sure what that means??

Bull barrel = thicker barrel wall and no barrel bushing.

5" bull barrels are not legal in IDPA or for Single Stack.

Since i dont shoot at IDPA, I may try this weapon when it come out. I need decent 5" 1911...

The CD High-Power issues didn't turn you off? They must have gotten your pistol straightened out eventually, then.

BUT

Gun came back, it only took 3 months, but after that, it worked, and it worked real good. Infact, i missed the weapon. I kinda wish i kept it
I'm willing to try it again. Depending on the price, ofcourse. If its going to be similer street price to their current offering i see($450~$500), I'd try.
If its going to be more then that, then no
