Default Re: Glock 19: chambering a round

I remember all the hullabaloo about Israeli carry and being trained to carry without one in the chamber. Well, the Israeli's no longer use that that practice. The whole idea of not having a round chambered was because most pistols had no drop safety on them at the time of the founding of the nation of Israel. Today virtually every pistol except a few and you know what they are, have a drop safety on them. OK, some Sig P320's fire if you hit it with a hammer or if you pull the trigger while holstering but that's a story for another thread. Israeli carry is no longer a thing so think of something else.

Not as worried about the gang as I am having to hit a couple people, in the dark, while I'm half asleep and they are awake and moving or shooting at me, and hoping they are not hyped up enough to fight through a couple hits. A hit to the head, spine or center of the crest are about the only places that are surely going to stop a determined attacker toots-sweet. I'm not John Wick.
