    Yes. Was behind it, saw tint. Saw expired tag. Ran tag. Confirmed expired. The stop is good. No question about that.

    By the time of the Prelim, that trooper was no longer with the PSP. The PSP wanted a continuance so they could substitute another trooper, I got it dismissed instead, I asked for it to be "without prejudice" as a fig leaf; that way the PSP didn't "lose", but nobody there was going to re-file it, either.

    I like to think the trooper's departure from service had something to do with his failure to grasp the basics of statutory law.
    I had my wife get an LTCF she has no interest in, SPECIFICALLY to handle this situation - exemption or not. Just head shit off at the pass for the cost of a few dollars.

    I just had the Mrs do the same yesterday and for the exact same reason. She has no desire to carry at all, but, legally, I felt it would reduce the chance of potential issues.

    Same here but wife did carry on a few rare occasions.
    Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.
