Rep. Darisha Parker says, "We are not going after anybody's Second Amendment rights."
Here is a list of legislation cosponsored by Rep. Darisha Parker. The list includes numerous pieces of legislation that would infringe upon Second Amendment rights.

Rep. Green, hoodlums do not respect laws against murder. What makes you think they will abide by "commonsense gun legislation"?

"At a former church-turned-Brewery on Pittsburgh's North Side, a group of Democratic Socialist candidates recently mingled with donors at a fundraiser.
Among the candidates was Elizabeth Fiedler, a former public radio reporter at WHYY in Philadelphia, who ran a Democratic primary there for state representative because she was tired of the two-party system.
"Being a Democrat is not enough. It's not enough. It's never been enough for me," said Fiedler, who won the primary.
Fiedler has the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America, a left-wing group that has grown rapidly since the 2016 candidacy of Bernie Sanders and the election of Donald Trump. . . ."

Re: Press Conference: Philadelphia House Delegation on Ending Gun Violence
While Nicolas Elizalde's mother, Meredith, made an impassioned plea for gun control in the PA House Judiciary Hearing on March 23, 2023, Nicolas Elizalde's grandmother spoke at today's press conference.

One of Elizalde's alleged killers is Yaaseen Bivins, 21.
Bivins is alleged to be the gunman who shot and killed Nicolas Elizalde on September 27, 2022.
Bivins has had a previous brush with the law. He had been illegally racing and driving without a license when he hit a 27-year-old, 7-months-pregnant, black woman who was sitting on a wall. The baby died as a result of the crash.

According to news reports and court docket sheets, Bivins was arrested on July 20, 2020.
See: YaaseenBivins docket here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/122k...w?usp=drivesdk
On August 01, 2022, the disposition date, the docket sheet shows 'Guilty' for three counts: Accidents Involving Death or Injury While Not Licensed (F3), 3 1/2 to 7 years (Confinement); Aggravated Assault by vehicle (F3), 3 1/2 to 7 years (Confinement); Illegal Racing (S) (No Further Penalty).
The docket lists the sentencing date as January 01, 2023
So, here is the timeline for Yaaseen K. Bivins:
Arrested -- July 20, 2020
Disposition Date -- August 01, 2022 (Sentencing scheduled for January 27, 2023)
Alleged to have killed Nicolas Elizalde -- September 27, 2022
Arrested on the Elizalde murder allegations -- October 18, 2022
The point is that had Yaaseen K. Bivins been held until sentencing (or more immediately sentenced after the August 01, 2022 disposition), Nicolas Elizalde might still be alive.
