They are solid cylindrical pieces of metal with rubber wafers between them except that piece all the way to the right.

Instead of changing the spring change the weights in the buffer. Also, that buffer can be used against your enemy.
Just thing of the force exerted on it when in operation.

Easier way to find this out is to buy an odinworks adjustable carbine buffer no roll pin to remove, back end has a hex cap screw that removes and weights fall out. Comes with stainless steel and tungsten weights, and can order more to suit different needs. Ran one in my DPMS ar10 dmr build

Instead of starting a new thread, is a carbine buffer/spring ok to use in a brace tube?
