.45 caliber pistol with which RMR?
I have my mind set on Holoson due to having excellent experience with them.!
My price range is sub $400. It will be on my Springfield XDM Elite I’m .45 acp. The chevron reticle had my attention as it would be nice to have a reference point at 100 yards. But I also like some of the features the Vulcan series.
Thanks

I too am partial to Holosun I have two 507 c-x2's one green & one red. I like it that you can switch from the circle with the dot in the center to just the dot. I use the circle dot for plate shooting because its very easy to pick up quickly. Just the dot can be a challenge until you get used to it. You wont go wrong with a Holosun. I have used them for about 3 years now with no issues. Good luck whatever with whatever you wind up choosing!
Looks like Optics Planet has a pretty good price on the red laser version

Re: .45 caliber pistol with which RMR?
I have the Hex Dragonfly on my XDMe compact .45. I like it well enough. Outside of that, I've only used Aimpoint and EOTech. Those are good but outside the budget (outside mine, too, I've used them on the job). You should be fine with any of the popular optics. I've heard a lot of good things about Holosun. If cowitness with the irons is important to you, pay careful attention to the height of the sight body (battery and control housing) along that plane. With the Hex and silencer height sights (Trijicon), I get about half of the front dot to cowitness.
I highly recommend getting a LensPen if you will be carrying with the optic.

Re: .45 caliber pistol with which RMR?
Thanks for the advice and input. Haven’t purchased the sight yet, but at some point I’ll budget it in and get one.
