    I've used a Lyman beam scale for 30+ years but I bought a digital last year.

    The only thing you give up with a beam scale over a good auto is speed. Done right, they can be highly accurate for a fraction of the cost.

    I started with an RCBS 5-0-5 beam but later got a Dillon D-Terminator and have used it exclusively.

    Yep, I use the beam scale as a periodic safety check on the digital.

    I mostly use one of my two digital scales. However I still keep my beam scale in top condition to use in case of an “extended power outage”. For that reason I bought a second beam scale that stays at camp.

    Retired the beam years ago. Use a Hornady digital and rcbs charge master.

    Have a 5-0-5 and a Dillon digital. I use the 505 for trickle charging 5.56 loads and the Dillon for everything else.
