Default 🕷 Tick season comes with a warning

🤕 Researchers at ESU's tick lab have found another tick-borne illness that can be transferred to humans called Babesiosis.

MONROE COUNTY, Pa. — As we head into tick season, Lyme disease isn't the only tick disease to worry about.

According to a recent report by the CDC, another tick-borne illness is on the rise in the northeast.

The people hiking the trails at Brodhead Creek Park in Stroud Township know they're not alone when outdoors. Hard-to-see pests are lurking this time of year — ticks.

x2. Pulled one off my leg after driving for 3+ hours back in February. Had barely been outside earlier in day too...who knows when the bastard got on me.

Which reminds me...need to spray the yard again soon

One of my co-workers makes "Attack Tick", formally "Tick Knock Out". Organic, safe for kids and pets, and is a blessing. I use it at our range, no ticks on me all last year.

How strong is the smell, and how hard is it to get the residual smell off after you use it? Looks interesting. I spend so much time in the woods I basically have to go through a course of lyme antibiotics every fall/winter because I permanently test positive and I don't really want to use the deet or otherwise nasty stuff.
