Default Thoughts on University Rifle Club in Reading?

I’m about an hour away which is the only thing holding me back. I don’t have any rifles but would love to build an AR and join this range if it’s good. What’s everyone’s thoughts on it?

this is a great range especially if you are interested in doing more modern shooting- shooting and moving, draw from OWB holster etc.
There are steel targets out to 300+ yards. It is a gun club only, there is no real "club house" and there are porta pottys and an outhouse.
If you want to check the club out go on the website and view the calendar and show up to an open match.

It is all outdoors, no indoor shooting facilities

The URC has members from out of state who travel hours to use the range. We have lots of members from Philly and the surrounding area. The first Saturday of the month is orientation. It's best to arrive around 12:00. Hopefully I'll see you there.

i only have one complaint is that they had to ban 50 bmg due to a former members stupidity, i was told it will possibly be allowed again at some point. otherwise its a great range and safety is main priority which makes me happy.
