Btw, since the D-rep in Delaware county is stepping down, do we have a chance of winning that seat? That would change everything.
Dims got 64% of the vote. If the Republicans could come up with a good candidate and put a little effort into it there is still a possibility. The district is becoming filled with Philadelphia voters that like the feel good free shit the dims are offering.

Here is the mindset we are up against.

This asshole, another Philly guy, tells it like what they really are after: "if you don't deserve a gun, if you don't need a gun, then you don't get a gun".

Yes, that is Rep. Chris Rabb. I posted the very same link above in this thread. What is clear is that these "representatives" do not respect the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the rule of law, natural and inherent rights, logic, reason, or their Oath of Office.

My response on his page below. Call these guys out for their political theater. Goad them into showing their true colors. I could tell by his attitude that afternoon while in chamber, he*s quick tempered and will shoot his mouth off, saying the wrong thing if we push the right buttons.

Rep. Rabb flat out lied in this hearing. He claimed, *I*m not out to take anyone*s guns*.

Really rep Rabb? You are a cosponsor of HB 336, which specifically bans all types of semi-automatic rifles, of which there are over 15 million in the US.

Per the FBI crime stats, rifles of all kinds are only used in 3% of all homicides. If you really cared about saving lives, you should stop your political theater and go after the handguns used the other 97% of the time.

Advocates rallying tighter gun laws hope to seize on change in Pa. House leadership

    Excerpt:

*A mother*s weeps and pleas cannot continue to fall on deaf ears,* said Jeani Garcia of Allentown, whose son was murdered with a gun in 2012.

Garcia said the gun had been acquired via a straw purchase, in which someone buys a gun specifically to re-sell it to another person who would not be able to pass a background check. Stolen guns, as well as those sold without a background check, circulate widely in her community, Garcia said, prompting her advocacy for safe storage laws and stricter background checks.

*I think they get the message mixed up,* Garcia said of some lawmakers. *I*m not against guns, I*m for background checks. Owning a car has more rules than owning a gun in Pennsylvania, and that*s scary.*
