Gun violence? Guns are inanimate objects -- just like knives, baseball bats, hammers, automobiles, etc. Guns do not commit violence.

Now, when you put that up against the lives saved with the use of a firearm, the statistics aren't even comparable.
    Precisely.

All the politicos present as well as the law enforcement officers took the oath of office.

To the extent they violate their oath, they are perjurers (criminals).

Criminals are going to commit crimes. It is in the definition of the word.

Sorry, Ms. DA, abortion is, by far, the largest cause of death for children.

Unfortunately the Dems are in control of the House and can basically do as they please with these hearings (i'm sure there will be more), and I don;t think they have to allow any opposing viewpoints if they don't want to.

So the question is How are we (and gun rights orgs in PA) going to counter it? From my view we're caught completely unprepared because there hasn't been a serious threat to the 2A here in a long time.

MS. DA, you also took an oath.

My inherent rights are not contingent upon the irresponsible, thoughtless actions of others.

Your point is a valid as they come. I've been emailing the reps of PA everyday since I first read about the Assault Weapons ban, the Mag ban and even the ammo bullshit they want to pass. I don't know what beyond that we can do.
