Default 2023 HB 336 Assault Weapons Ban

I know, crap like this gets flung every year in the PA House. Just wanted everyone to be aware of it.

    https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs...r=0336&pn=0299

    THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF PENNSYLVANIA
    HOUSE BILL
    No. 336 Session of 2023
INTRODUCED BY SANCHEZ, ABNEY, KENYATTA, CIRESI, GIRAL, MADDEN,
SCHLOSSBERG, RABB, VITALI, FIEDLER, HOHENSTEIN, PARKER,
STURLA, WARREN, KINKEAD, OTTEN, N. NELSON, FRANKEL, CERRATO
    AND SHUSTERMAN, MARCH 13, 2023
REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON JUDICIARY, MARCH 13, 2023
    AN ACT
Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
Consolidated Statutes, in firearms and other dangerous
    articles, prohibiting certain assault weapons.
Skimming over it, it's the exact same copypasta as usual.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

It will come to a vote now and likely pass in the House.

Hopefully the Senate says no to this, but with the way the federal republicans have been soft on this stuff, I am still concerned.

Warren*my rep. Looks like I*m going to pester him again. I really despise these lying scumbags. I have to remind them their oath taken is to the PA constitution not radical leftists.

    Letter to my A-hole rep:

"Article 1 section 21 of the PA Constitution "The right of the citizens to bear arms in defence of themselves and the State shall not be questioned."
It's clear that your oath is to the PA constitution and not radical leftists. Also, crime is up because of YOUR policies of sanctuary cities, releasing violent criminals and not prosecuting them. Also, the left's divisive rhetoric is getting people killed....This is on you and your ilk not the good people of this state. I can prove this with stats if you're interested I can send these facts to you...BTW, 8X as many people are killed with fists and hammers than all rifles combined.

This may pass this time around. The anti-gun rhetoric is strong nationwide as guns are now the fall guy for all of society's ills and PA gets bluer every day.

Well at least there is one less vote for it with that POS Zabel gone.

When is the next Harrisburg Gun Rights meet? We must show up in numbers.

This will pass the state house, and be very close in the state senate.
