    Default New to Tannersville

    Hi all

I am new to PA (Tannersville). It seems very nice here so far. From NYC. Came to get away from
rampant crime, poor quality of life and leftists.

Are there any sketchy areas in Tannersville or nearby? I am looking to avoid certain "elements".

Thanks all! And thank you for having me

As long as you vote and fight to keep our state free, welcome to freedom. I can't help you on sketchy areas up there, onlhy place I could think of my be Stroudsburg but I'm not so sure that it's even bad.

I am very conservative and vote "red" in most cases. As long as they are not rinos

I'm a pennsyltuckey native. I avoid 611 on weekends. Stroudsburg and Mount Pocono can be cityish. The West End is still pretty rural. Where or what part of Tannersville did you move to?

Personally I do most things in the Lehigh Valley or better yet Lehighton/Palmerton. Your gonna hate Tannersville traffic when there's a wreck on 80. I don't like Mount Pocono and Stroudsburg by the bridge ain't great. If your up near the end of Fish Hill you'll learn the back roads. Kind of feels like a lot of crap goes on at Pocono Country Place.
At least you have Barley Creek Brewing up there.

I don't think you'll find any ruffians about in the Tannersville area. Fish Hill is a nice area, my cousin lives up there. Stay away from Pocono Country Place (PCP) and Pocono Farms up 196, north of Mt Pocono and you'll be good. Welcome to the Poconos!

Welcome! You still may be in a "blue" voting district, thanks to democrats getting their way recently with redistricting. If Florida can import red votes, hopefully Pennsylvania can get some more too.
