Default 21 year old Sovereign Citizen killed by police

    https://rumble.com/v2ccdr4-farmingto...fire-whic.html

Summary: March 1, 2023, Salt Lake City, Utah. 21 year old man pulled over for improper license plate, claims some sort of sovereign citizenship, refuses to identify or cooperate. Police attempt to forcibly remove him from his vehicle, then perforate him when they claim he went for his gun. Note the empty hip holster, and the claim a gun was found on the floor of the vehicle.

    Good shoot? Bad shoot?

I couldn't find this in a search here.
If anyone can embed the rumble video, I'd appreciate it.

Hard to tell these days, but maybe a few more rounds would have made the situation even safer.
I wonder if a civilian lit someone up like that, it would be justified?

Even at .25x I couldn't tell if he was reaching to undo his seatbelt or draw. The one cop was reaching in the same area, maybe to also unlatch the belt and/or pull him out. IDK.

With today's tech, you think they could have HD cameras and at least 24 FPS.

    Did the driver survive?

No, hence the word "killed" in the thread title.

    I think he died.
I saw another one today of a DUI gone wrong. Something is going on with society, and in a bad way.

Why just pull a gun on a cop, unless all these interactions with cops are from wanted felons or just felons ,
with drubs and or guns they dont want to get caught with and would rather die.

The sovereign citizen thing is usually represented by scammers and other low life. If you're dumb, it pays to be tough.

The "sovereign citizens" are known for having the dumbest philosophy that isn't part of Women's Studies or Afro-Centric Studies programs. The notion that they don't need a license to drive on roads unless they're engaged in commerce, has no basis in the Constitution or statutes or common sense.

I've heard they'll prey on anyone, pulling scams and counterfeiting court documents and stealing homes through deed fraud. i think they're the ones who believe that every person is entitled to draw on some fantasy bank account or something, so they write bad checks and scam normal people.

I agree that the citizens of the USA are COLLECTIVELY the people in charge, through elections, but that doesn't translate into "every one of them is a king who may not be touched or held to account for his deeds".

Still, I can see that it might attract some of the poorly-educated who are sick of the Democrats believing themselves entitled to regulate anything as long as they can put it in the form of a statute.

I've encountered clowns like that guy that tried to explain that sovereign citizen mumbo jumbo to me a few years ago.

I'm not sure how exactly he saw that game playing out, but reaching for your gun when you are in a parked vehicle surrounded by armed men is a distinctly stupid idea.
