Did you ever own a P228? I have had that gun for many years, shot a least 3000 rounds through it (quit keeping track after that) and I have not been easy on it as my primary carry gun for much of the last 10 years. It's never FTF even with crummy ammo. It's not my current carry gun but it's still in good enough condition to carry because it's still more reliable than much of what's on the market today.

That is the first time I have read a comment like that. P6 and 229 NEVER had a failure of any kind.

I've owned 2 P229s, 2 P226s, 6 P320s and P365 variants over the years. I've had problems with a P229 and several of the P320s. Sig always made it right but it does seem like it was more often than my other pistols. That being said, my current Sigs are my favorite pistols.

Let’s be honest too. This thread is about smooth shooting pistols. The czs mentioned and 2011s shit all over the sigs no matter how much it hurts.

Smooth shooting is good tracking quick to follow up great triggers etc. all the ideal competition pistol traits. You see very few sigs outside of legion x5s anymore.
