Default Washed 38 ammo in laundry, opinions???

So the other day I washed a pair of pants with a speed strip full of my 38 carry ammo (Fiocchi).
What's the general consensus on the reliability of the ammo now that it's been through a wash cycle?
My feeling is it's probably fine to carry but why take the chance, I have more ammo.

This happened to me. I pulled one of the bullets and dumped the powder to see if it was wet or clumped. Turned out ok and I shot it.

Wait, you guys don't wash your carry gun and ammo with your clothes all the time?

I did that one time long ago. I had the the remainder of the ammo in the box and a friend had a chronograph. The washed ammo did not show any sign of deterioration compared to the ammo straight from the box when using the chronograph. It was Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel Personal Protection 38 Special +P. When I discovered the ammo went through laundry, I isolated the speed strip in a sandwich bag and put a note in it. It was at least a year before I did the comparison shooting.
