Re: CC in gym shorts, track pants
WeThePeople holsters makes a line of carry joggers (sweatpants) that come with a belt. There are beltloops on the indside of the pants.
Another company makes a similar line of shorts but i cant remember their name at the moment.

Re: CC in gym shorts, track pants
I'm very comfortable with my exceptionally straight heterosexuality. I love me a good nude beach... Ever been to Lido? Family friendly as well...
I love Cracker Barrel, just to be crystal clear on this. haha
Yinz ask about gym shorts... I thought people might actually wear them... i dunno... at the gym?? If Solely for Walmart shopping, then I'd probably recommend a Ulti-Clip sorta attachment for whatever holster you train/practice with the most... I think Aline Gear makes a "system" set.
Alternatively, duct tape around the chest works.
(I did just see OP mentioned specifically not for activity/sports.... Reading is hard, mmkay? )
These work for that, in my experience... But I don't dress like that. I've seen ones that have teeth on the inside of the sprung retainer piece too that look like they work better.. but no experience actually drawing under simulated stress with them. I fear you could pull the holster too. I'd recommend doing some action practice (2 or 3 gun style) to see if it works for you. I actually only carry stuff I've torture-tested and/or used in action shoots. I wasn't always this noble... 12yrs ago I was so silly making these sorta posts with minimal experience beyond "shooting trash at granpappy's farm"... lol ymmv, but why not test stuff as harshly as possible.

I use a bellyband when I go for a run. Something like this --> https://www.amazon.com/Belly-Band-Co.../dp/B08L46K67W I position the gun on my strong side vs carrying it over my stomach.

I use the Pistol Wear PT2. Its comfortable and works but my draw to first shot it probably 3-4 seconds in it.
The PHLster enigma I believe is going to be the best option

I have a gun, and therefore no need to run!

I have CC'd both my P238 and P365 in gym shorts. I use a kydex holster appendix carry and just tighten the hell out of the draw string. I've done the same in sweatpants.

^^^This exactly^^^ Stop with the tight *** spandex and tactical hoodie holsters. Ive used this very fanny pack for decades when in UTD shorts t-shirt and sandals, holds the J frame, two speed strips and a money clip with cash and CC's, small folder
No they don't scream gun or are effeminate or gay, they just work really well and can be drawn from uber fast with little practice. very practical when on a motorcycle or ATV (or running) where hitting bumps may dislodge a handgun from a holster or other means of carry, easy to take on or off in public without exposing the firearm. No one has ever given an odd glance at it,clip a cell phone holster to the belt and good to go anywhere, all you need in one practical package.
