Default CC in gym shorts, track pants

Is there really any practical and effective way to carry concealed while wearing elastic waistband or draw string shorts or pants? Unless I have a reason to put on pants, I spend most of my down time year-round in such attire. Belly band seems about the only somewhat effective option but unless you have abs like 1991 Marky Mark, it's not really all that comfortable or practical.

I've seen some sort of Spandex undershorts advertised which have a slot of fabric to hold a pistol, but retention doesn't look too reliable and it seems awkward to draw from. I've also heard of gym shorts with belt loops but that sounds dorky plus the gun is still going to weigh down the thin, moisture-wicking type material. I don't know if there's really a possible good option.

Also note I refer to CC just for casual activity in these clothes like walking or out running errands, not playing hoops or anything like that. Another idea is to skip the pants CC and buy some sort of CC- ready shirt. Not sure how well that would work, either. Anyone have a good, practical solution?

....bellyband was my answer but you already had that covered.

Yeah, not really concealed though, plus my man boobs are a bit bigger than that buff model they use!

The pockets in these (if you're fit & wear the correct size), easily hold a Hellcat/P365?etc. while running/sprinting/cutting/etc. There's also an iPhone pocket. They are like knock-off Under Armours, but the elasticity seems much stronger. I'd recommend a pocket sleeve type holster with the outside stickyness to be safe with the trigger fully covered.

I bought these in France last summer and also on Amazon.co.uk....

For the record, I did not CC with them in any place where it would be illegal.

5.11 makes a holster shirt similar to what was already posted.

I know belly bands were mentioned before. They have different types, from the old elastic stuff to more firm stuff like a lifting belt. I don't have abs (a little extra weight) bit these are fairly comfortable. They can get a little sweaty, but not as bad as the holster shirts.

There's also pocket carry with subcompact in a pocket holster.

Yeah, unless someone weighs in with a better option, I'll have to experiment with the belly bands. I have one but it's not great. There's one out there called The Clutch which is supposed to be pretty good, but comes with a $200 price tag. As for pocket carry, the smallest I have is a G43. Doesn't really matter. Even a cellphone in my pocket makes me have to pull up my gym shorts every other minute.
