Smith & Wesson FPC 9mm
New S&W FPC (Folding Pistol Carbine). Looks like S&W is following in Kel-Tec's footsteps. It's 9mm, hope they offer it in .45. Also, now that S&W is in the 5.7 and 10mm game with the M&P, wonder if they'll offer this in those calibers, too.

It's finally official. A YouTube video leaked a little while ago but it got pulled down. Side folder so able to mount a dot. M&P mags. I'm interested.

That's awesome. Looks a bit "chunky" due to the use of "thick" polymer and needing it to be strong, but overall, it seems pretty well thought out.

Re: Smith & Wesson FPC 9mm
Price-wise, it's basically a Sub 2000 with all of the MCARBO upgrades and the flip to the side optics mount. Only it folds sideways and has a double mag holder in the stock. Thickness wise, the Sub2k is much thinner, unless you install their fold to the side optics mount, then it's about the same width as the S&W FPC. Wonder if it's as hard to charge as the Sub2k can be. From the video, it looks to be easier, even with the smaller charging handle. Also wonder if it spits debris back in to a left handed shooter's face like the Sub2k does. Easy fix for the Sub is an MCARBO brass deflector. I'm sure if the S&W has the issue, someone will come up with a similar solution as the Sub2k.
I don't need another 9mm carbine, but just like the Henry Homesteader, if S&W offers it in .45 I'd probably consider it.If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck. - Clint Smith
