Default Philly renewal ltcf - web based permitium lead time 2023

Went on website to renew the other day... curious to see how long the turn around will be.

Anyone else use it recently (2023)?

Used it last year. Approval within 24hrs. You should have yours already.
Earliest appointment was about two weeks out.
Parking on Erie is a real problem.

Picked up today.. be aware it's 660 east Erie Ave (not 600 like some of the paperwork says); everyone there is completely miserable too... park across the street (more towards spca direction) there is a business w customer cars out front... everywhere else seems deadly there. F PHILLY for purposefully moving it to a shithole bldg in a dangerous spot - so typical.

Was there a line? When we went, seemed liked others were ignoring their appointment times. We did not wait long, but were outside.
Went with my wife, she got her's too. Staff was pleasant enough, though they did give me a hard time about buying her a nice dinner. (It was her birthday.)

LOL. You think 600 East Erie is dangerous? You think they moved it there as a diversion? LOL. I*ll let the cops and PD warehouse workers know you don*t approve of the condition of their building. I bet they agree with you, as they go to work there everyday, not once every five years.

Funny, the Coca Cola and Philly Animal control people on Erie Avenue seem to have no issues.

I*ll agree parking is hard. Contact me in five years and I*ll save a parking spot for you.

The neighborhood is fine, about the same as when they were on Spring Garden (IMHO). At least down there, there were parking lots that weren't that expensive.

I had one from another county and I picked up my renew 5 days after applying. Much better then the 5-6 months back in 2012 Staff is still very nasty though.they kept asking for my old Philadelphia LTCF which expired 5 years ago and asked me why i did not have it and had to explain that you have to apply in the county where you live she then paused and thought about that for 10 seconds then rolled her eyes and said " i'm just going to renew the old one " printed it out but refused to return my other LTCF despite it being from another county and expiring in a few weeks. there was another guy there with me who had a denial letter but said he was not the person in the letter( totally different name ) and it was mailed to him by mistake and he wanted to figure out what was going on as he had not received his permit he was treated like garbage.

Yes it's dangerous and yes ive lived in various areas all over the city including mantua, west philly, south philly and NE. The entire city dangerous and as a cop you know that... but that has more to do with politics than anything else. I honestly dont care what the cops nor dept think - sarcasm or not - tired of the entire LE elitism attitude. I 'back the blue' but more out of pro rule of law perspective...

It might be fine by Philly standards, but I wouldn't call it fine on a more objective scale.
