Default Anyone know when the next gun buyback in Philly is?

Serious question, I have an old heritage 22 revolver I don't shoot anymore, and the local shops are only offering $50-$80 at most trade in credit.
And since the past several buybacks have offered $100-$150 that's a lot better deal.

Also, does the PA state police check buyback serial numbers against their (not a registry) registry, and if so, will I some strange questions from them a few weeks after the buyback?

I'm not sure how its done now but I submitted an old rifle years ago and it was no questions asked and nothing to sign back then.

Interested too. I have an old rusted .22 that someone was getting rid of. Took it just for the purpose of disposing of it in a gun buy back.

Same here, I've got an old shotgun that I need to get rid of.
Looking at the Philly City Counsel page it looks like you just missed one on Feb 4th.

Do you really need $50 so badly that you would willingly help their anti-gun mission "succeed" in getting a gun "off the streets"?

    My thoughts exactly...

OP.... Shall we VenMo you $50 to watch you put three cuts in it on an MS Teams call? Please don't patronise those buyback BSs....

'You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Emptymag again.'

If it's safe/functional, sell it cheaply, or give it freely, to someone who needs it.

Yes... even better idea, @esh21167.. Ask someone who legally and safely could use it to learn and improve themselves or protect themselves with it.

Usually a stipulation of the buy back is that there will be no questions asked.
