Can I CCW my Son's Pisto
My son has a CZ P-01 that I want to try carrying. Can I legally carry that gun? We are both PA residents. In PA it is legal for a father & son to transfer pistols to each other w/o going through an FFL. As it stands now, he is the registered owner of that gun.

^I concur IANAL either.
& unless I am mistaken you don't even have to be related (with regards to the family transfers exception) so long as both are PA residents & the recipient has a PA LTCF.

Re: Can I CCW my Son's Pisto
1) there is no registration in PA. The State police maintain a database of sales, and your son + his pistol may be in that.
2) Yes pistols may be transferred from parents to offspring ( and Vice versa) without a FFL getting involved
3) you need a LTCF to carry any pistol concealed or in a car or during a state of emergencyLast edited by markshere2; February 22nd, 2023 at 02:55 PM.
