Muzzle devices and OAL
I know pinned/welded devices on rifles count toward final OAL. Does the same apply on a shotgun, should the choke/comp device be silver soldered to the barrel?

Re: Muzzle devices and OAL
my understanding is that a silver soldered muzzle device device does count towards OAL for a shotgun.

Re: Muzzle devices and OAL
What kind of shotgun? I have a bunch of shotguns with various chokes, and none of them extend the barrel length in any way.
But as long as the barrel length is over 18", you shouldn't have a problem.

Just a knockaround mossberg 20ga bolt i snagged cheap 26” down to 18.5”, add the external choke setup to bring it back up to 20-22”.

Re: Muzzle devices and OAL
These are my options currently being weighed:
1st choice, self adjusting (has bead sight built in and could in theory be replaced with a truglo fiber dot)
https://www.sarcoinc.com/adjustable-shotgun-choke-tube/
2nd choice
https://www.sarcoinc.com/20-gauge-cy...shotgun-choke/
need to talk with Johnny from Sarco and see if he has any of the adjustomatic is in stock. Otherwise, ebay for 3x the price and more than the shotgun is worth lol. If not, i can settle on the Hartford Cyclone 3 and just figure out how to drill it for a bead. Realistically the latter will probably wind up being the way i go, due to price and availability
