Just my luck. Penn State with a govt. handout was offering free water testing. Had to watch a webinar and collect samples. Damn, sent them out Monday.
Not downplaying this at all, but has me thinking of how big the deal was with acid rain decades ago.
Looking at maps, if they're correct, we should be ok.
It ain't what they call you, it's what you answer to.

    Yeah, we*re fucked!
Here ya go https://www.deerparkwater.com/brand/our-springs <- note that they're mostly in the NE corner of the Commonwealth.

There's two sources - aquifer and groundwater.

Groundwater is more easily contaminated. I think it was the Smithfield hog farm down in Mexico that became a source of disease, after flooding rains carried the pig poop into the local ground water sources.

USGS came out and tested my water a couple of years ago as part of an ongoing study that they perform. Everything in my water was A-OK except for Radon. So far, it has not helped with my night vision.

Given that list above, a Cold War era NBC NCO/Officer could probably calculate the downwind plume and contamination levels (along with their persistence), since this is very similar to preparing for a Soviet artillery barrage (where one out of every three shells were expected to be Bio/Chem).

Someone explain why ever time it rains, the next day my truck looks like it was driven on a highway with rock salt.
And it hasn't moved from its parking spot in days.
