🤔 THE PENNSYLVANIA DEER CONTROVERSY, 20 YEARS LATER
State-mandated antler restrictions. The idea pitted friends against friends … brothers against brothers. It was not a pretty situation, and it ruined deer hunting for a lot of families. However, did it achieve what it was meant to do? Today, 20 years later, we take an in-depth look at the most radical whitetail hunting change to sweep across an entire state in most of our lifetimes.

Re: 🦌Pennsylvania hunters want change
Frankly, if the opener gets changed back to Monday after thanksgiving, I believe an adequate compromise would be increase the antlered season to three or even four weeks much like other states and Sundays could be included. That will help us "non deer camp" blokes who often work daily during the season ample time to get in the woods. Let's face it look at any game land parking lot during the second week and its sparsely populated, the third or fourth week would reflect that even more so.
