Re: 🦌Pennsylvania hunters want change
We get 13 people in camp in McKean County on Friday at various times. We hunt public. Most of us have been there checking deer sign since the spring. Most of us have checked stand locations during the early bear/muzzleloader season or archery season. Most of us visit the local town establishments all year. I have been to camp every month in 2022 for at least one weekend. I buy gas, beer, ice, hardware items, groceries etc. from the local vendors. Anyway, the majority of us stay at camp for a week. I save a week of vacation for rifle season because I WANT TO. People complaining about the season opener because it cuts into scouting and rifle sighting in time don't make a valid argument for me. Prepping camps, gear, rifles, etc.. for the two week season is able to be done the other fifty weeks of the year. People just CHOOSE not to. Go to Walmart the night before the season and look at the lines. Enough said...

Re: 🦌Pennsylvania hunters want change
I’m all for giving the deer and all animals Sundays to relax. If you want to hunt, make it a priority to hunt Monday through Saturday.

Re: 🦌Pennsylvania hunters want change
I’m not suggesting taking the entire 2 week season off. But one or two days during the season seems manageable for anyone I would think.
