Any love for the CZ 512 22 Mag?

This gun has my attention. I love a good 22 mag and of course a 22 mag in semi auto sounds like fun. Anyone have any experience with it? Is it reliable, is it accurate, and how is the trigger?
Trying to figure out if this is the one to buy, or if I should go in a different direction.
Its primary use would be squirrels and woodchucks from 40-100 yards.

I have no experience with the CZ 512, but I have some experience with CZ bolt action .22 LR rifles. I like them a LOT. If I were in the market for a .22 semi-auto rifle the 512 would be what I would seek. I saw the 512 on the CZ website last week and it my attention.

I own a 512 and I haven't shot it much. It's a typical CZ, so accuracy is good. I heard that some CZ owners complain about the trigger, but I don't have an issue with the trigger. It's barrel is threaded, so if you have a suppressor, this rifle is a good option.

Thanks for sharing! I would love to handle one, but my shop owner doesn’t have any at the moment. At some point I’ll handle the Gun and see if the trigger is good enough. It looks like a fun little gun! I am in the market for a 22 mag for squirrels, woodchuck fox, coyotes and whatever else wanders into the yard that is legal to shoot.

They've been around for at least 10 years. Since Colt merged with CZ They've been discontinuing all manner of things including, unfortunately, their iconic safari rifles.
