You could always do what I*ve heard other people do: Walk up to the *Check yer gun* table. Let the nice officers unload it for you. (Side note here: For added fun, Whip it out and unload it yourself SAFELY. really makes their day when you don*t let them fingerfuck your gun. BONUS points for stating, *I don*t want you Barney Fife*s shooting yourselves with my gun*). Then, having successfully bypassed all the unlearned people and sheep that do not carry, (That*s right, you get to bypass that line!) you go inside, turn right and proceed to the restrooms. Pull out yer gun, cut their zip tie with whatever edged weapon you are carrying, reinsert booolits into gun and reholster. By the way, COMPLETELY LEGAL as there is no signage telling you not to.

I just carry when I go. I once ran into a guy I locked up when I went into a local gun shop.

The last time I went to Oaks was about 5 years ago. The police had people unloading their own handguns. There was a bullet trap and it looked like the police had people aiming into the bullet trap to remove a chambered round.

If they are concerned about untrained ND's, that seems like a worse idea. I stayed away from that group.
