No, but that doesn't change my opinion on them being big and clunky.

Big, yes they do add some weight. Clunky, that*s one I never heard lol.

Fwiw and sticking with the topic, my 10.3* AR with a suppressor is still shorter than a 16* AR.
    Today was a good day!

A 1x optic you're comfortable and accurate shooting, streamlight with a pressure pad, 10.5 upper and good sling. 5.56 will carry through walls so if you're worried about downrange collateral damage, ditch the 5.56 and get something like a cz scorpion or similar in 9mm

5.56 and 9mm will both over-penetrate. That's why you want 5.7. But you can't have your ps90 everywhere. That's why I have a scorpion by the back door, ak by the front door, ps90 in my office, couple ar's in the living room, ak9 in the kitchen, etc. Retreating isn't always an option when you have loved ones in the home because my wife/kids would look at me with a dumb expression on their face in the event of danger.

    this.
    sub sonic 225 pills.....basically a 45cal bullet from a rifle... thats more pointy...and not deafening.....and still shorter than a 16" rifle.

my no.1 approach however is living in an area where the probability of requiring to use a firearm, in my own home, is quite low. 2 ars shorter.jpg
it's only metal, we can out think it....
