Buds Gunshop's horrible website
Trying to purchase a gun, the website is just ridiculous. Trying to phone them is not possible. One phone recording outright informs staff will not answer questions re online purchases. When the order is placed and an order number assigned, attaching an FFL's certificate is a nightmare. When the prompt with a different phone number to call, that menu just results in the website again. Their I am not a robot Capta does not work, and failing to satisfy it results in an endless loop of getting nowhere.
Between Chat, emails, PDF/FFL sent (but not acknowledged) I don't know if I have succeeded in ordering or not. And they do not ship for as long as 7 days. Their Website says 2270 presently online with them. I must be one stupid SOB.There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Re: Buds Gunshop's horrible website
I have probably ordered a half dozen or more firearms from them and have never had an issue. And I am nowhere near tech savvy. Hopefully you get it worked out.

Order status as of now...No FFL. Got on Chat and PDF'd the FFL info (surprised Chat has a spot for that) and requested it be attached to order. Chat person said they had received the FFL and give it 24 hours to appear. Progress!

I just chose from the big pile of local FFLs they already had on file. Easy peasy. Too easy actually. Money can evaporate pretty quickly there.

I wanted to give a friend the business (transfer fee). He should be on the list now that the company has agreed to transfer to him. You're right....an off-list FFL was part of the mystery.

Re: Buds Gunshop's horrible website
Just got a 5pm Saturday eve email apologizing for much longer than normal delays...so I'm asked to forget about the 5-7 days shipping delay for a thousand dollar product. They charge a restocking fee of 10 percent if an order is cancelled. What bullshit...what restocking if they haven't the staff and time to move it to shipping.

Re: Buds Gunshop's horrible website
Well, my apologies to Bud's. Today I received tracking and estimated delivery information, all within the forecast 5-7 days which of course means working days. I am happy again! And I want to give an honest report on dealing with the company. It's a case of be patient.
I began my writing with "Well". Should it have been "So" ??There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
