If you have (or are thinking of obtaining) a concealed carry permit this is the course for you. Penna. and New Jersey residents are welcome. Laws of both states will be covered. Topics will include how to obtain a carry permit in PA or some other state. An NRA training certificate will be issued. Many states accept this as proof of training to issue you a Non-resident Carry permit.

Re: Introduction to Concealed Carry
Yes the NRA certificate is First Steps.
Florida and many other states will accept that as proof of training. Conn. might want the 10 hour basic pistol certificate.

Some of us cringe at seeing it's in NJ. For the range time, does it have to be in NJ?

Re: Introduction to Concealed Carry
It is completely legal for a PA resident to bring a firearm to a range in NJ. If you are still concerned we could do the shooting part on a PA range in the area. No guns are needed for the class room part.

Wow, what a course. Even though many would see an intro course as being 'basic' it was filled with a lot of good information. I am very glad I overcame my initial fear of traveling to NJ for a firearm course, well worth it.
