Re: Pennsylvania Battle Re-Enactors Up in Arms Over Fighting Ban
DCNR can basically make any rules they want under the guise of safety. The four parks in the SE region no longer allow you to hunt with 22s. I expect they will continue down this path.

Re: Pennsylvania Battle Re-Enactors Up in Arms Over Fighting Ban
Well...the "Battle" has had it's first win. The war is not over yet. https://triblive.com/local/westmorel...-will-be-held/
It's interesting that the report stated the initial decision to "Adopt" the National Park Policy was made by the staff of PHMC. Really? Just let the staff make up laws and regulations? Where are we....the west in the early 1800's.
The PHMC is "allowing" the reenactment for "this year". Interesting to note that the entire (12 person?) board voted unanimously to allow the reenactment. Again...this year only. But the law needs updated so that these types of policy decisions are made by our elected representatives....not appointed "hide behind" cloak and dagger committees.
Again, I would urge all posters on this forum to contact their State Rep and State Senator and let them know how you feel about this. It's far more important than discussing the virtues of driverless cars.
