    Default What to buy next?

I'm a ways off from the next purchase but looking to start saving for something fun and different. No set direction but have a few ideas on what might come next.

You're young. Plenty of time to check all those off your list.

There may come a time when a 308 battle rifle would come in handy.

As much as I would LOVE to own any of those listed, they are ultimately too big/heavy for ME.
I think I finally found the 308 for me though - that AR15-sized Ruger SFAR.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

    My .02 on priorities:

Imports. You never know what crazy world event or US government action can dry them up.
Mag fed semi-autos. Get ahead of any potential future bans, or reclassification as NFA items. I fear they are coming.
NFA items. They likely aren't going away, and see previous.
Lever guns are lower on the anti's lists.

So I would get the MP5 clone first, then a .308 semi, then a suppressor. The MKE AP5-M is $900 at PSA with the code AP5. (I think that's the right code.)

I held the Ruger the other day at a local shop. Petite little .308 and it's definitely on my short list. Very interesting indeed.

You need a CZ 82 9x18 Mak, along with reloading dies, bullets, and cases. Just sayin'.

Turkish stuff aint going anywhere, anytime soon

My big question here is do you want to focus on C&R type stuff for the collection, or more modern firearms? esh has a point, get ahead of the curve on any potentail ban-able/nfa items (look at current cf with pistol braces to give an idea)….

If it were my choice, perfect world money no object: more modern stuff like the AR platform and polymer pistols, build it as a pmf. Save the money buying them to invest in “fudd” guns and collectible shooters (m1, mod94’s, revolvers, etc.)
